Excellent customer service and a wide range of shoes, clothing and accessories. A one stop shop that offers so much value for any athlete whether on the run, or during recovery. This has been my favorite running store for over 20 years! Friends and family include Skinny Raven as a destination on their must-do list when they visit Anchorage.

Many people talk about this being a high price store, but I went there because I knew their people were professional and knowledgeable about what active people require in footwear. Sometimes, it so way worth it to get the extra help and specific advice. Sure enough, Steve recognized immediately my high arch, and helped me find not only a pair of walking shoes, but he heard my longing for winter shoes and wondered if I might love a specific thing....I walked out with the best pair of spiked (Solomon) hiking shoes I've ever owned. I love both of the pairs I got there, and so much appreciated the expert advice I got that helped me pick the right pair/s.

I needed to order Ice Bug boots with carbide studs in a hurry after my husband fell on the ice last month. Skinny Raven called right away after I placed my online order and helped me make sure they shipped immediately to the right bush Alaska address.

The month before I had walked into the downtown location and staff helped me find the same kind of boots in my size. Our family is really happy with the service Skinny Raven provided and happy with the high quality boot options they stock.

Just this summer I had spent around 450$ at Skinny Raven, through races they organise and merchandise they sell, and I would call it a good experience even though the races are heavily overpriced compared to what they offer.

I had also bought Hoka Bondi 8 running shoe to use for work and occasional run. After less then two months part of the sole came falling out, and when I came to return it they declined my refund, even though I had a receipt and the error of the shoe wasn't caused by me. Because I bought them over 45 days ago, which exceeded their policy!!!
45 days to return a shoe. Joke. And as I said I am their returning customer.

So if you want to buy a running shoe, at the same overpriced no discount price, you can definately get it here. But if anything happens to it, after just 45 days it doesn't have to do anything with them!! No matter the $$$ you spent there before.

Good lesson on how much you value your customers, thank you Skinny Raven.

Very pleased with my Hoka Speedgoat Mids. My second pair I've owned of this style; love the support on my feet. The team at Skinny Raven Sports were so patient with me in finding the right fit. Highly recommend this store for all quality shoe buying.
