My mother will start her 5th stay at Col Glenn Rehab today or tomorrow. She is currently 95 years old and her previous stays at Col Glenn started in 2023. Our experience has been all you could hope for from a rehab facility. The staff has been very responsive to her needs, management has addressed all of our concerns we expressed prior to her first stay at their facility. She tested positive for Covid the Monday before our winter ice/snow on 2.18 and went to Baptist Hospital for treatment. The Col Glenn Physical Therapy staff is the best and they will be helping her regain her strength and mobility for her return to assisted living. Do yourself a favor and trust them with your loved ones rehab. You won’t be sorry! We used several other facilities before we found Col Glenn Rehab. Any time she needs to rehab now we just call Col Glenn!

My Family chose this facility for my 91 year old Father and his first day was November 3, 2023. Initially he was receiving adequate care. Over time he was left with wet briefs for extended periods of time as he repeatedly pushed the assistance button in vain to summon a CNA or Nurse to attend to his needs. My Younger Sister became the main person who changed his diaper after she got off work in the early evening and weekends having found my Father in a soiled diapers continually to the point of tedium. All of the Staff was not incompetent. There was a limited roster of CNA's and Nurses that worked hard and attended to patient care as they were trained to do. Unfortunately, many of the good workers got ran off by the dominate culture of the individuals that work there that were incompetent. The Therapy Staff was excellent. They were very Professional and practiced great patient care while working hard to help the Patients with their Professional knowledge. I wish there was another row of five stars I could fill out for the Therapists in it's entirety and include in this five star the hard working CNA's, Nurses and Staff in other areas who are to be commended. The worse aspect of Colonel Glenn Nursing and Rehab is the upper Management, not the Middle Level Managers or the Social worker and head Nurses but specifically the Head Financial Girl and the Administrator. My Fathers care was paid for by Tri Care Military Insurance for 100 days. After that he went on Private pay at a rate of $385.00 a day. Having checked price ranges for patients in comparable Nursing and Rehab facilities in the Little Rock area it was discovered the average was around $300.00 a day. When the Administrator and Financial Girl where questioned by me as to why they charged $85.00 more a day over other facilities, they both told me their hands were tied on the price point because the State of Arkansas sets the rate they can charge. I HATE TO BE LIED TO! I knew it was true that the State set the rate for Medicare and such but not for Private Pay. My Family paid the $11,165.00 dollars for the Month of February. I was told on the day we paid for the month of February that I could not get a receipt for the payment until the following day? I went back the next day with to get the receipt and to gain proof of both the Administrator and Financial Girl repeating the lie they told me about the State setting the rate they can charge on an audio recording on my phone. I got the recording of them but the Administrator and Financial Girl had both changed their story with no mention of the State of Arkansas setting the rate but now the higher charge was justified by the quality care they provide and the large amount of beds they have in their newer facility. We got my Father out of this garbage Nursing Home Facility on February 20th, 2024 which is ran by people who have no morals driven only by monetary gain and who are Disciples of the Attorney Michael Morton, who resides in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Michael Morton owns Colonel Glenn Nursing and Rehab facility along with 30+ other similar facilities in Arkansas and Oklahoma. I was told on my Fathers last day in the Colonel Glenn Nursing and Rehab we could expect a refund of $3850.00 around mid- March. Mid March came and went, Mid April came and went. With May around the corner I stopped by the facility and asked the Financial Girl when we might expect the refund for my Fathers over payment? First thing out of Financial Girls mouth was, "Oh, I bet I know why you are here". I asked her to please mail the refund to my Father's address and she said she would get the refund to us. On May 14, I stopped in again and went straight to the Administrators Office and told her we were promised the refund two weeks ago. The Administrator said she would have a refund check for my Father in the amount $3850.00 by Monday of the following week. Finally Got it on May 15. Do not allow any member of your Family to be a patient at Colonel Glenn Nursing and Rehab or possibly any other property owned by Mr. Michael Morton.

This facility is a good fit for my mother. Carlissa and Trisha have been very professional, polite and understanding throughout the admission process. They have also been very prompt in responding to or answering any questions I have. Lindsey (APN) is very accessible and prompt in responding to any medical questions I have. Earl is my mom's favorite CNA. He seems to take pride in his job and takes very good care of my her. So far my mom has not had very many complaints, so I would recommend this facility for your loved one.

Please do not subject your aging loved one to the employees of this facility! Our 92 year old mother was placed there for rehab after a fall and a week in the hospital. With the COVID 19 regulations in place, were not allowed to be with her or see her, which is not the facility's fault, but they should have some way of keeping the family informed of their loved ones condition. We could get no info, other than"she's fine." No one ever did what they said they would do. They never return phone calls. When we were able to speak to our mother, which wasn't often, she would cry and asked us to please get her out of there that these people were not treating her right! We did get her moved after a few days, thank goodness, but the administration was very rude, uncooperative and unprofessional. Please do not let the nice building and sweet talk at the beginning fool you.

My MIL was just accepted a couple of days ago. She has a private room based on her condition! It’s very nice and clean! Small couch and breakfast table are in the room. She is British so she likes that they have BBC America! Seems like they have plenty of staff. Hoping therapy will begin tomorrow. Will revisit this post once her rehab is close to finishing.

I wouldn't advise anyone to work here. I'm a CNA and I was put on a hall full of total cares by myself with no reliable help. Residents are more demanding at this facility and will lie on you. You never know going in if you'll have the supplies you need to do your job. They use cheap vinyl gloves, packs of really small wipes and broken down vital sign equipment and lifts. Most of the staff is rude and hateful. Nurses don't pass meds on time and the residents blame you for it. Nurses disappear for hours at a time. All of the residents on my get up list were 2 assists or total cares.

My father-in-law was placed at colonel Glenn for rehab with the knowledge of long term care. He has been in a private Room It is a must for any nursing facility that they family remains active to know what is going on and bring it to their attention if needed., the only reason I rated 4 stars is for the turn over of staff. He has Received good care. If we have an issue we go straight to the patient advocate Or his nurse and it is quickly resolved. It is a must with any nursing facility that that family stay interactive to know what is going on with their loved one
